    i stopped listening pretty quickly,

and seriously id want to punch someone if we drafted Percy Harvin, hed be injured by training camp.

a small injury prone UF WR from a gimicky system that includes, QB Sweep, WR Reverse, PA WR Reverse , and very simple routes when they actually decide to snap the ball read the field and throw.

    no thanks.

Thats who he has us taking in his latest mock as well. I hope he's very, very wrong. Harvin is a tiny little guy who can make big plays, but runs poor routes. If we want a big play threat that runs poor routes I'd take DHB and I hate the thought of taking him.

I would light myself on fire if the Jets drafted Percy Harvin. Scott Wright is a no talent ass clown. I'm surprised he still doesn't have us taking Tyson Jackson...like he's been doing for the past 5 months.

No, he's got Jackson all the way up at denver's pick, yet still lists him as an option for us. He thinks we are taking the two guys I want the least in Jackson or Harvin. Its a good thing I mostly Ignore him.

While I agree about lighting myself on fire with Percy Harvin, Scott Wright knows his shit. I read an article last year on a website that ranked all the scouts who do mock drafts and he was by far the most accurate (beat a 2nd place Mel Kiper by a good margin). His website is pretty detailed too and its free unlike espninsider shit

I don't think much of Wright's opinions either. A lot of these guys do mocks based on what THEY think the Jets should do, not WHAT the Jets are likely to do. Wright didn't even come close to mocking what the Jets would do last year either.

In theory, shouldn't those two things be one and the same? If they think the Jets should do one thing, why would they naturally assume they are to do another other than realizing "hey, we're talking about the Jets here"? If you think something is the best direction to go in, you have to think that the team is going to do the same thing.

Was it all that hard to see who we were taking last year? We needed pass rush help big time and those were the top two DE/OLB prospects on the board.

word I never understood his logic especially with his reasoning for the Jackson pick. It was something to the effect of : well the Jets were really good against the run so lets make them even more great and not fill a hole? That was pretty weak

I called out Scott Wright and the thread got locked and I got banned for like a week.

Then later on I criticized him for saying Kenyon Coleman needs to be replaced as our top goal, and I got banned again.

Scott Wright is an idiot. We already have speed (Clowney, Stuckey) so why would try and draft the same with poorer route running skills? We need height (Britt) or explosive speed with actual direction (Maclin). Thank fuck this guy is not running an NFL FO. He'd be worse than Matt Millen for the Lions.

if we do not not sign a wr or trade for one by the draft and nicks is on the board and we do not take him i'll be pissed. that assuming sanchez is off the board.
