I have seen him play 3 times, he seems to have considerable talent and a great burst of speed and power, injuries have plaqued him, has someone out there seen him more and can give a good scouting report on him.

Addai is alright if , we have to draft a rb id prefer Brian Calhoun i know he short, but something tells me he could be a really good rb in the league.

I've seen Addai play many times with LSU ad the guy is a beast...nothing super fancy just straight smash mouth football and has the speed to break away from defenders...his pass protection is far superior to any of the backs on the board barring the fullbacks
He is my second choice to Bush and would be a great pickup at #35 if he lasts that long
Norwood is a super fast back but I don't know about his pass protection, but he is my 3rd pick

Why carry 4 RB's? Makes no sense to draft a RB this year.

    No shit.

How about we get an offensine line and determine if Blaylock or Houston have 1st string potential.

Agreed. We actually already have 4 RBs in Martin, Blaylock, Houston, and Askew. If anything we need a FB in this draft, not a RB. If McNeill, Mangold, or Winston is available at 35 and we take Addai I will be pissed. The way things are panning out he might not be available at 35 though... don't be surprised if the big 5 RBs go in the first round.

Houston does have 1st string potential and he showed that by running for 4 ypc behind an OL of Jones, Goodwin, Kendall, Moore, and Gragg. A healthy Kendall, the continuing of growing by Goodwin and Moore, and 2 more starters into the mix will help Houston show he can be a feature back in the NFL. IMO Blaylock will ever be any more then a change of pace back, which is his role for us this season.

I'd like to see Lendale White at #35, probably not gonna be available that late tho. How about taking Mario at 4 and Lendale at 29 and an OT at 35?

also they say addai has bad blocking abilities...for a team with a weak offensive line to take a running back lacking in blocking skills would be dumb

yes agree that addai definitely has some power that is similar to lamont's. Yet he runs more straight up than Lamont. He reminds me of Mike Anderson in his running style and power. That running style concerns me in the NFL cuz ur exposed to alot of big hits.

The only runningback I want us taking before our comp pick is Reggie Bush. If we don't take him then I really am not interested, unless someone like DeAngelo falls to 29.

I have not seen this Addai play much at all but I hear hes a good player, so i while i would look at him at #35 i would rather us take another pos. and not a runner at 35.

Addai has better pass protection than any of the other backs other than some of the fullbacks

addai to the colts, im pretty much set on that, they'd shock me if they took anyone else unless someone slipped on the defensive side

he's an edge clone w/o the mass production behind him, but then again he went to LSU...though he did struggle a tad in previous years, he can do and will do everything edge did, he can catch, run, block, he's a perfect fit for that team and offense, and much cheaper than edge was...
