He's getting older but still had a good year. As much as I dont really love Ellis I dont think he's much of an upgrade. He'll probably want big $$ too.
I honestly don't understand these threads. People post a separate thread for every single player that gets released, and either outright say it, or imply that we should sign him. The part that completely baffles me is when people post one of these threads and then someone here agrees and says "yeah, let's sign this guy". I hate to break it to people, but the FO doesn't come to this site for advice on who to sign. It really doesn't matter to the FO if people on a message board think that he's a quality pickup or not.
