In an unprecedented move, the Bills Released Derrick Dockery. Derrick Dockery could essentially move to RG, and under Callahan can flourish under his schemes. Given that Dockery did give up 8.5 sacks, and Brandon Moore gave up 2.0 both in 16 starts. Given those numbers, we could possibly get him for less money than he will ask for.:shit: I prefer we get Moore back, but it is beginning to look unlikely that that will happen. Derrick Dockery has the size, and the experience; but what about Jahri Evans, released from Saints? He is young, 6'4" 318, and started 3 straight years in New Orleans. Everyone wants Vilma from the Saints to be in NY. I personally would settle for Evans, and address our needs in the Draft. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3936197 any thoughts?
i also mentioned Jahri Evans; this thread isnt about Derrick Dockery. If it was, it wouldve said " DERRICK DOCKERY", this is about WHO we would like to see starting at RG. It doesnt necessarily have to be about Derrick Dockery. He is though, the highest rated guard in Free Agency. For good reason. I personally want Evans, not Rob Turner or Wayne Hunter.
1) Try scrolling down on the thread page 2) Why is this unprecedented? He didn't play up to his contract. Teams release underperforming players all the time. 3) You actually inadvertently proved a point I was trying to make in the other Dockery thread. If we're going to release Brandon Moore over a $5.5 million cap number, who ARE we going to get to replace him? Dockery may be seen by some as an upgrade, but he'll ask for similar numbers (or better) and was outplayed by Moore last season.
Good post. I agree with that sentiment. Either you go with an unproven guy for real cheap, or you have to try to sign someone in Brandon's price range and hope for better results. The price of guards has gone up ever since the huge deal that Leonard Davis got with the Cowboys.

Oh right...I forgot that every free agent out there is going to be a solid replacement. No one player in the NFL is any better than another! BTW, how many of those centers and tackles on your list were you planning to move to guard?
I dont know why dont you call each and every one them and ask them. Better yet instead of ridiculing and criticizing why dont you go over the list and re-do it listing the position they play. I listed the free-agents on the offensive line.
I didnt make the list jack I copied it off of an NFL site. If it doesnt meet your approval too fucking bad. Making that list maybe more productive than wasting your precious time arguing with me. Arent I keeping you from a masturbation session.
because he only had ONE bad season. that is why its a shock. this thread isn't about Dockery. you could list anyone else here that is a free agent; the fact is Jahri Evans is the only replacement to Moore that could come less expensive.
