We need a corner more than anything on defense. McFadden is an ascending, very physical player. We can get a receiver in round 1

Plus it will make up for our missing out on Darrent McFadden.

EDIT: And ascending means he can fly, right? That's what I call a cover corner.

McFadden was our best young corner. We hate to lose him.

Yes, he's fast and physical. He was our 2nd rd pick in 2005 and is just now starting on the 1st string. Our defense is tough to learn for young guys, but we have his clone in William Gay ready to step up.

He'll make way more money than we'll every pay him.

Ask me anything - and his name is Bryant.

  4. I'm very high on McFadde. He's big, physical and fast. He'd be a great fit for our D and even w/ him..we could very well go cb in round 1.

Him or Leigh Bodden would be just fine.

I like Bryant McFadden. I would have no problem with the Jets signing him.

^I figure McFadden will command 5 million per, Scott 7 and Leonhard ~3.5 so thats 15.5....we have upwards of 20 so yeah I think we'll be able to get them all. My estimations may be (way) off tho...

Leonhard should not be getting 3.5 mill/season yet. That IMO is overpaying.

No objections, but obviously this would be a value signing. We are in the market for a #2 CB. The potential FA's have to understand that.

I like it. Grab him, Leonhard, and pray to God that the contract talks between Bart Scott and the Ravens get horribly, horribly skewed and that could give us the chance to look at some play makers for the offense come draft time (Maclin, McCoy, Britt, Nicks, Moreno...etc.)
