I guess we'll just have to settle for Ray Lewis then.

Well then I'd resign Eric Barton if this happens if I were Tannenbaum ...

Yep, Scott's gonna sign with the Ravens, Lewis will probably sign with the Cowboys, and the Jets will get the JAG safety. Like clockwork.

That does suck. What about Michael Boley as another target? He was productive in Hotlanta but looks kinda small for a 3-4 ILB.

No way if Scott signs with the Ravens the NYJETS will overpay and get Ray Lewis. If Rex Ryan wasnt the head coach id agree with you.

Lewis and Vilma get them both!

Lewis always wanted to play for the Cowboys, and now he has his chance. How often does a team get a great player (even on the downside of his career) specifically wanting to play for them?

If we sign Ray Lewis, I will treat you nicely for a year.

Actually... I'm not upset. It sounds like they will only sign one, either Scott or Brown, but not both. If they sign Scott, Brown can come in as a guard and backup center to Mangold. I really like that idea. He's only 25, and can play OG or C. Nice versatility. That would allow us to resign Barton and draft another LB.

If they sign Brown, we get Scott. As long as they can't sign both, it could be a no lose situation.

Damn having him at ILB could have been really great. Who will we spend all of our money on now?

You still have other linebackers out there, Peterson , Lewis.. and the draft is heavy with linebackers. All is not dead

We can pray for the unrefined Maualuga to drop to us or get the not-so-physical-doesn't-ever-belong-in-a-3-4 Laurinaitis. Larry English would be a long shot to put at ILB but he's athletic enough to do it.
