ALSO to quote someone I hate quoting, Bill Parcells always said for every rookie who starts is a game lost. Just from mistakes or getting burnt by more expericened players.
Going with a rookie on the line is a HUGE mistake. Keep the line as it is. LOOK what TJ did this past year. Do you want to change that.

Well it's obvious that we would have went 12-4 if Brick and Mangold sat on the bench in '06. If we just listened to Parcells we would have won a Super Bowl that year. Same Old Jets

And this is the svelte version of Herman Johnson. He has reported to have lost 30 lbs since his bowl game !

Parcells is usually right, but there are exceptions to every rule just look to last year when he picked and started jake long with the 1 pick that one more games then it lost. Same goes for the jets in 06 when they were clearly the bets options available on the roster.

It might be that Loadholt goes to RT where he can better use that massive size. Woody kicks inside to G.

thats not a bad idea... actually thats a really good idea.

Phil doesn't have the speed to be a LT, and the Jets have one of those. He is a better RT candidate... and he's fucking huge, so he'll be a pure roadgrader.

those right side runs won't drop off for LW and TJ.

Remember Woody was an Pro Bowl interior lineman for New England. So the guy knows how to play inside. That combined with the massive Loadholt at RT would be a good deal. And Loadholt very well could last until our second round pick.

As for a guard, I like Levitre and Urbik as well, both should go in the late Second to Mid third range. Robinson is massive and manhandles guys. I like him alot but don't see him lasting to our second rounder. Johnson may need to move to RT in the Pros. I don't think he has the mobility to handle any play where he will have to pull in the pros. Loadholt is also a RT as opposed to guard prospect.

Levitre is smaller then robinson, but still stount at the point of attack and more moblie on screens and pulling pays. He coiuld step in year one and produce. Urbik has played both guard and Tackle and would be a great, versitle addition to our O-line. Quack said he has some injury issues, but I can not remember or find anything on them.

its been mentioned several times that they could be targeting Jason Brown
from Baltimore. He's the best FA interior lineman out there this year and would cost similar to what Moore's cap hit would have been.

There are also a few Guard prospects who could step in right away and do well in the second/third round area. Moore was good, ofter underrated, but not the best O-lineman we have by any means.
