Actually I wouldn't mind a one year stop gap... now we only have Revis and Lowery. Get McAlister and either a solid draft pick (3rd or 4th) or someone ok in free agency (Jabari Greer?) and we are ready to go.
a waste of a pick? remind me what our passing defense was ranked last season. Lowery is a not a #2 CB.
...not yet. I'd like to see if McAlister still has what it takes to start in this league. We could hope for a Rod Woodon situation and convert C-Mac to free safety. I'd still like us to sign Jim Leonhard and Bart Scott - but McAlister would be nice too. Rex Ryan knows these guys, so if he wants them, we'll get them.
I Think we should keep an eye on McCallister and Jim Leonhard. We get both of them if possible and i think its a much cheaper way to a very good Secondary then remember Revis and Rhodes with Lowery drifting around and Elam as backup and on different packages we can be very good. Or go the much easier but pricey rout which i dont think we can and sign Nmadi Asomugah.
