Edwards was given the starting job because Losman had bonus money coming to him if he completed so many games in the 07 season, the injury was the perfect time to make the change.

When Losman plays the game with no worries about impressing people like in '06, he finishes 12 in qb rating and 11 in yards thrown. And that was his first season as a starter from game 1 to game 16. He threw for 19 TD's too which isn't great but is much better than Trent Edwards' 11 this year.

Losman isn't as bad as ya'll make him out to be, and he is much better than Clemens.

you have no idea what a trade is do you? we wouldn't be trading for losman even if this idea was a good one, and we didnt trade pennington to the dolphins. he was cut and signed with the phins.

I vote this thread of the year. The original poster should be banned for posting this trash have they ever seen Loseman play.

I didn't even bother to read page one. This is a definite, NO WAY. JP should just change his name to "Another".

Losman couldn't QB for a Division II college let alone an NFL team ... Easily the WORST QB in all the NFL ... He has all the arm strength in the world and is dumb as a stump ... I'd rather have Brett Favre when he is 45 than JP Losman ... He would have trouble learning a playbook if it only had 1 play in it ... His only positive is that he can throw the long sideline bomb ... Too bad in the NFL that is usually only used 3 or 4 times a game ... Get him away from that and he is clueless ....

I'd be extemely surprised if he is in the NFL next year .... Maybe somewhere as a third stringer

    Unbelievable.

The amount of stupidity in three pages is amazing. Trading cut players, signing Losman.

Dogs and cats living together...mass hysteria.

Actually, Losman has one of my favorite nicknames of all-time.

    From a Buffalo fan..

    JP "Just Punt" Losman.

Rex Grossman is the definition of inconsistent. He doesn't really have inbetween games. He's either REALLY good, or REALLY bad. I think it would be hilarious to have him and if he is doing well in warmups, you play him, and if he isn't, you play the backup.

So you're saying Buffalo purposely benched the J.P. Loser just because they didn't want to pay him the extra money???? Please don't be ridiculous! Then you go on to say he is much better than Clemens...

I want to state right here right now that Clemens will be the starter and barring significant injuries, lead this team to the playoffs. I'm sick and tired of people doubting this guy.

Where's Badger? Threads like this just don't seem right without "BRING ON THE DITKA" stapled across them.

My opinion: Hell yes! Losman has made a career out of getting the Jets wins!

Your last posts prior to tonight were about Losman not being a bad QB. Kills any credibility you have (or don't have).
