Yeah on espn now, idk if i really want Kurt, although you cant ignore his numbers

if we sign Warner at 9 10 mil a year, wouldnt that mean there would be no competition and he would be annointed the starter. If we really want a competition, i dont think Kurt would be the right guy, so i think i would rather have leftwich

Pass, prone to turnovers- didn't we have enough of that this year? Without his supporting cast, how good is he really? We certainly don't have players of Fitz/Boldin caliber on this team.

Honestly, I would take Warner if he were a bit younger.

Off-topic: MBGreen, who is that in your avatar?

Warner has some weaknesses, but he?s clearly the best player among the realistic options and he knows how to win.

I?d take him over Leftwitch and who else is out there. But it could be a problem of the price.

I don't know if Kurt Warner is the right guy for Rex Ryan's team - he's too nice.

There is no "right Guy" available, we gotta take what we get, and he seems to be one of the best, if not the best options.

    God will lead Kurt right.
That's what he has told us all.
    But God hates the Jets.

Kurt seems like a down to earth guy, a hard worker and a good leader.

But I think you?re refering to his passhappy-highlightreal-offense image. I can see that point, and that Leftwitch?s or Garica?s playingstile is more suited for a Smashmout, Run-First O.

But imo, Kurt ist just the better QB.

    Kurt Warner's old arm.
    Won't have Fitz, Boldin, Breaston.
    God hates the wildcat.

    Apparently not Matt Leinart.

Edit: I see someone else noted this about 20 minutes ago.

NFL Network is talking about Warner, Garcia, Collins, Leftwich, Rosenfels (No thanks) and Anderson as a possible QBs for us. I realize we have a team that can win now, but I am sick of the "1 year fix". I want a QB of quality that can last for several years. If we bring in an old fart QB, we need to really figure out if any of the 3 QBs we currently have are the future and if not, draft one for the long haul. Time to just get it done.

Of course he's open to coming to the Jets...look at how many hits he's taken to the head!
