Its obvious to me won't return here , he doesn't like the whole training camp philosophy so will use the exc use of i don't like NY to get his ass cut.

He will then sign for the Viking and all these Favre worshippers will see their god for what he is , an ego driven person interested in one thing only and that is Burt Favre

Favre would have gone 0-5 if not for Ellis. It would be impossible for Clemens to do any worse.

Yes, that is exactly what the attitude of most (if not all) the "Favre transplants" here. Though there may be some who'd still cheer him on in Minny (man would that be a bitter pill to swallow!) That there's anything else is just fiction made up by abyzmul because he got his widdle feewings hurrrrt and wanted to start casting sticks and stones at me in particular. Most of that has been taken to trashtalking, where he got to have his little tantrum by creating a thread about me, but I guess he can't contain himself, here he is doing it in this forum again.

The guy choked down the stretch was a mersonary to begin with. As a Jets fan you loved getting him for the possabilities, the reality is he was awfull, choked, sucked, lost it, doesn't have it, it's over, give it up, let it die, stop living in the past.

It's time to let the the fantasy of Favre as a quality NFL QB go. The guy still has a 2 year window before his butt drops and he will have outlived his usefullness as the spokesperson for Wrangler Jeans.

Pennington proved himself unworthy 4 weeks after Favre proved he was done. I'm not sure what your point is. Pennington sucks in the playoffs, Favre sucks before the playoffs?

I think if he prepared for the season he would be better this time around. The older you get you have to train more, not skip the off-season as he did last year. Only because we have no other option would I be supportive of it, we don't have an Aaron Rodgers waiting for his chance. If he retires that's even better, we don't need a QB eating up that much cap on a team that figures to be led by a physical defense.

I agree with you to a point. However at 40, coming off injury, the window closses very fast. The fact that the options don't look all that great doesn't change the fact that Favre is 40, has a torn bicep and looked like an old man in bad weather.

The fact that Pennington outplayed Favre this season doesn't exactly cement your argument, Einstein.

Not to belabor the same point over and over, but Pennington worked all off-season on his game and his throws, Favre did nothing. It showed up in December.

Just for the record, if it wasn't for Brett GETTING us to 8-3 then we never would have been in the position to choke. So, take the good with the bad.

or to say it another way, if Favre played better, he wouldn't have played so badly. Brilliant!

Did I miss something or did Chad end the Dolphins season the same way he always ended ours? This year was vintage Chad and it was sad to watch. CHAD OR FARVE ARE NOT THE ANSWER!

Yes, Favre carried us to 8-3. Nothing to do with the run game or our D.

In the playoffs? It was sad to watch as a Jet fan because we weren't there and he was. The Ravens D has stopped a lot of good QBs in their time, Chad being one of them.

Not really what I said. I said he played well but wasn't fit enough to finish the season strong at 39 with no off season training.

    Are you serious?

That 1 win had more to do with Dick Juran then it did Favre!!!

Since Brett is not "forcing his way out of town" but might be forced out behind the scenes, you are bloody well right I would root for him there. And here is a news flash for you; so would thousands of other Brett fans.

Hey, I would prefer it to be here as a New York Jet as I know his original intention was not to come for some "six month experiment" but that is all up to the Jet's brass now.

Will the Jet's brass push him out with expectations that he never had to go through before to produce 16 or 17 winning seasons in his hall of fame career ?

No matter how polite Brett will be about it, The fans will know the truth !!!

What's up to the Jets Brass? All he has to do is say he is playing next year and the Jets brass is boxed in.
