Do you think we should try and sign T.J. Houshmandzadeh? He's 6'1", 197 pounds, we're getting a tall receiver here. Do it, Jets! We need more weapons for whoever's gonna be the QB.

He won't be a huge upgrade over Coles or Cotchery. Let's get someone young or Chad Johnson if the price is cheap

I do not think we should sign a WR as a free agent, draft 1 early or trade for one if we dont keep Favre it would be a waste of a pick or money mabye both, if we start Kellen or Ratliff our passing game will be weak the guy wont even be used. If Favre does not come back every pick we got & all the money his retirement gives us for free agents we better use on D cause unless our D is great we are going to suck cause our O will be average at best with no QB

I'm not saying one way or another whether we should get a receiver, but wouldn't a better receiving corps help an inexperienced QB, maybe even more than an experienced one?

No, I don't think we should try and go after Housh. I think that would be costly and not at all in line with our team's needs. 6'1 isn't tall for a receiver, it's about average-sized.

TJ is a whole lot better than coles and is definately better than cotch. Cut coles maybe sign housh. and draft percy harvin or a speed wr to play with stuckey as 3/4 wr

I don't know why anyone even entertains the notion of cutting Coles as a possibility.

Any FA money we do have should be spent on bringing in any Ravens defenders willing to follow Ryan over here.

No its not ... You made the same shitty thread that was already made. Houshmanwhateverthe\fuck isnt good. He is a good 2nd wr thats it. Doesnt have the height or speed to be a #1 wr. If you think differently you know nothing bout football he isnt straight up is not a playmaker

im with you highly laughable, and whoever you quoted wanted to draft Percy Harvin. a tiny injury prone reciever out of UF(id like to thank the patriots for wasting a pick on chad jackson), where Urban Meyers system is one of the biggest gimicks in football?

I'd prefer to try and trade for guys like Boldin or Edwards or even draft a WR before Housh.

Agreed. A WR like Boldin or Edwards would help Clemens/Ratliff/DraftedQB so much. imagine Boldin, Coles, Cotchery, Keller, Clowney, and Stuckey.

I've never been totally sold on Housh. I have always viewed him as the football equivalent of Scotty Pippen. I have a feeling that he has looked so good because everyone was always more focused on Chad Johnson. That being said, whether I'm right or wrong, I wouldn't be a big fan of the Jets acquiring him.

As for Chad Johnson, I honestly don't think he's overrated. When he's healthy and has a good QB, he's dangerous. This season may be the equivalent of Randy Moss' last season on Oakland, when he just mailed in the entire season. We'll just have to wait and see...
