I'm calling for a veteran for insurence. I'm not opposed to getting Leftwich. But i want Clemens and Ratliff to battle it out for the starting job.

    My Money's on Ratliff.

    My vote is for Kellen.

Start watching at 1:15, stop watching at 2:08.

Man if that pass had only been completed. 30 yards, plenty of zip, on the money, against the ravens, in the regular season. Better than any pass Ratliff has thrown.

Clemens showed a lot in the game. Good footwork, quick release, the ability to make any throw. I'm sure Rex Ryan hasn't forgotten that game.

Favre wants to play lets give it one more year he did have the most td passes for us in 6 years but yeah im aware of the 22 picks which was total shit but it is what it is. Give Clemens a shot with a good o-line and run game unlike 2007 where the o-line was almost complete shit. Ratliff the backup and maybe draft a guy in the middle rounds or sign a vet to be backup.

I think the best thing Rex could do is announce that he was giving the starting job to Clemens or Ratliff and instead of a competition just prepare for the season.

I'd rather put Ratliff out there. Kellen has shown me NOTHING to suggest that he's ready to assume the QB reins of this Titanic.

Anyone but either of the Brett's, unless BR actually earns it (doubtful).

Clemens. Let's see what he can do with more than 2 seconds to get set in the pocket and a running game.

I've SEEN what he can do with more than 2 seconds to get set in the pocket : GET SACKED after doing his poor-man's Neil O'Donnell impersonation.

Other: Peyton Manning. Give our first for the next two years to the Colts. If not for Parcells he would have been playing for the Jets all these years anyway.

Granted Clemens played with the same line in 07 that made Pennington look equally as bad as he did. but he looked bad. Ratliffe we have no idea, Ainge same thing, and seemed like the coaching staff was a bit disapointed in him right from the start.

Going after another experienced QB is the move, second choice would be Brett coming back.

Well call me crazy but I'm going with #4.

We need a QB who won't turn the ball over. We need somebody who has a cannon and who is a veteran.

That is why I voted for OTHER... Byron Leftwich.

However I hope to see a competition and IN that competition I hope to see Kellen Clemens win.

voted for clemens, if favre comes back then he is obviously the starter because we are not going to release him. ratliff hasn't proved anything yet. clemens deserves a chance with the oline we have now. it's funny how people are willing to say clemens is trash because he played shitty in 07 with that horrible line. also the same people who use that line as the excuse for chads poor play.

Looks like AZ will keep Warner so he is out. I guess they would burn down the stadium there if they let the QB that brought them to their firs SB just walk away.

Other than that, I think our QB next year will be Favre or "Other". Certainly none of the others.
