He is an owner. He spends money on his team. He is here to make money and win. He makes more money when his team is good. He is trying to sell out his new stadium. Other then hanging on to Herm Edwards too long..Im not sure why anyone would have a a complaint with him..other then he is raping season ticket holders. Now thats a big one..and Im sure much of the hatred revolves around that. You cant knock him for not spending..and not trying..TRYING...to bring in the right head coach. We have now had 4 in his less then a decade tenure as owner of the NYJ's. What else can you ask from an owner? Other then asking for your first born with the tickets...I see no reason to think he isnt doing everything he can to make this team a superbowl team cmans post back on the first page hit it on the head..he is slowly but surely learning how to become a good owner.

I've had issues with Woody. I admit that does not mean he's incapable of doing the right thing from time to time. It appears he has with changing Mangini out for Ryan. But I think at bottom what concerns me about Woody is he's not really a football guy. I got the distinct impression he bought the team in part to play around with the WSS deal. I did not like that idea from the get go, much as I think the Jets should be in NYC. Just not there. His leaving Herm there too long wasn't the only problem as I didn't think he should have hired Herm in the first place. I was not so down on the Mangini move, but I was not high on it, either. We all know better now, or should. On balance, Woody just does not seem like he's knowledgeable about football. Compare him to the Maras. Ugh.
Woody went out & spent $152 Mil this year on this team when he did not have to dont blame him for MR. T'S bad draft picks & Mangini being a bad coach. He is the owner not the GM & coach
