Your Avatar suggest you're looking through Orangemen-colored glasses. I like McNabb the athlete, but his mental psyche would not fly here in NYC. He's too sensitive. Let's draft a QB in the 4th round, sign a back-up veteran in case of emergency (eg a Leftwich) and let them all fight it out for the starting job and back-up. My prediction: Ratliff emerges as the starter, vet is back-up, 4th rounder is 3rd, Clemens and Ainge are cut.
I wouldn't mind trading for McNabb but new york fans can as relentless as the philly fans. like Gang51Green said woody built this team to win now so if mcnabb doesnt produce how would it be any different from what he has in philly but i still wouldn't mind seein him gang green along with julius peppers.
Didn't read anyones reply, so not sure if anyone said this, but McNabb is a big baby. No way he would be able to stand up to the pressures of playing in NY/NJ.
McNabb is a good QB but he makes a ton of erratic throws. He gets his team close all the time but he never gets the job done. Plus I dont really want anymore older QB's and McNabb is in his early 30's and has been in the league for 10 seasons.
^ agreed. McNabb is a good QB but he has proven that he cannot seem to win the big game. Sure he has been to 5 NFC championships and a SB, and that is more than we have ever seen. However I don't feel that he is worth all that money just to fall short, and be disappointed once again.
Any one notice how pissed A Boldin was at the OC on the sidelines yesterday? I know there is bad blood betw AZ FO and Boldin, he may not be extended yet? Any one know his contract status? Even with the hamstring problem he scored a nice YAC catch vs ATL. A year off to heal + new surroundings? with clowney as another deep threat? Problem: Drew Rosenhaus is his agent. I don't care which Brett, Byron, Donovan, Kyle, Sam Skip or Johnson is throwing the ball this guy could be a factor.
