I would love to see for the Eagles to get crushed this Sunday and for Reid to either get fired or quit. I think that he along with Jim Johnson would turn this team right around. We need a HC and a DC don't forget...

It's time for Reid to go, ala Bill Parcells...go somewhere new and bring his coaching staff with him. Maybe even a favorite player, just like Bill does ie: Martin. I would love to have Bryan Dawkins for maybe one more good year.

I only mention this because out of the current teams left in the playoffs the most likely coaches to get the door would be Reid or Turner (no thanks), IMO.

    What do you think?

I simply can't see Reid getting fired, or leaving for that matter........

I don't think Reid is going anywhere but if he was available I would love to have him. There have only been a few coaches who have had the success that he has had.

No way in hell he gets fired after they made the playoffs. If they missed, there would be an outside chance, but he's the type of coach I would think would take a year or two off if he got fired rather than jump right back in.

And if he quit, no way he would take another job right away. I doubt that's even legal.

i am not a fan of reid, there have been a number of times in the past few years that i felt the eagles should move on. however right now that is not going to happen.

he throws the ball WAY too much, but never has good receivers. he makes the offense a problem rather than a great unit. he is one of those guys that has had success, not great success, but i always felt it was in spite of him rather than because of him.

i defnitely do NOT want him roaming the sidelines for the jets, with this team i think he would surely not do very well. jeez that just reminded me of the last guy we hired after he got fired from philly. :)

I just think a bad loss to the G-men this weekend, you would really think this Eagles team is running out of gas. I'm living in the Philly area, the fans and media are nutcases down here. There is talk about this team needing to start over, and they (fans) talk about showing Mcnabb and Reid the door first. I however won't be the least bit surprised if they beat the Giants this weekend and then I think he is a lock to stay put, other than that i'm not so sure, and it might be worth waiting to see before we pull the trigger on Spags or Ryan. I for one would rather see us get an experienced HC like Shanahan.

I'd rather have Johnson than Reid.

It's weird man. The Eagles fans I've talked to from Philly both want Reid out of there. I'd sure as hell take him. This has been the best stretch of Eagles football that I can ever remember. I respect him more of a coach than as a father. If he came here, his sons come too once they are paroled.

Regarding McNabb? I think I'll pass.

The vast majority of Eagles fans do not like Reid. I definitely see some of what they're saying. They throw way too often for a team that never has had receivers, and they put way too much pressure on McNabb.
