There were quite a few Gholston threads. So far I haven't found the "big" one.

You could take a look at the official draft thread. It is now closed. It contains 1,033 posts and more than 100 came courtesy of allan1, so you know the thread has a lot of curse words and craziness.

    Here was my best contribution-

That's funny. Here's my best effort. I would like to see other Gholston predictions brought back to the forefront.

This kind of thing lends a bit to the argument that Mcshay is better than Kiper now a days. Hoge is just an idiot, personally I think he just picks a particular unpopular opinion and sticks to it, and then if he is proved wrong months later, he convieniently forgets to eat crow.

Pretty funny reading all the posts from readers here saying he isn't good.

Maybe all it takes to be an "expert" these days is "Big Hair"

Gholston was the classic example of a combine workout warrior who's stock jumped because of test that have nothing to do with being a football player. We were had yet again and that is that. Bill Belicheck was laughing knowing we were going to let the best Lb in the draft (Jerod Mayo) a real football player slip to him. If Gholston was good the Pats would have traded up ahead of us.

I think Kerry Rhodes can run Ryan's blitzes but abviously it would require more than just him or else we'd give away our intentions every time....I think Elam could pick it up, he was effective this season at times.

I'm not sure how our LBs are any less flexible than the Ravens'. Physically, our guys can do everything they can. Ray Lewis is just really smart and can read the play and make smart coverage decisions. I don't think Suggs is any kind of athletic freak.

If anything, I think we need to turn the 3-4 into a 4-3 before the snap by having Thomas or Pace move up and put a hand in the dirt then blitzing a safety or something.....we never did that but it would work well at making O-line make lest minute calls and perhaps confusing them.

Are you kidding!! They had him playing 30 yards back. What the hell is he supposed to do? He is a top flight all around safety that Ryan can design his blitzes around. Elam also is an excellent blitzer as he showed this year. Hoge is an idiot. Pay no attention.

Exactly. Ask Hodge how good Lamar Woodley was in his first season with his beloved Steelers. Subpar, and nw he had a break out year for the Steelers. You can not label a bust after 1 year, especially when the guy changed positions.
