Cassell is a succes under Bellichicken. No guarantee he would be good in an other programme. I don't want him. Ratliff must be at least given a shot. I don't see Clemmens going any further with the Jets but I sure feel he deserved a shot behind a better line than last year.
Oh you know how good hes going to be based on his college performance??? He not better than what we have. Hes unproven. He could ab another Andre Ware.
No way in hell. To me, he would carry the taint of Patriot scum. I think it's time we stopped trying to be the Patriots by poaching their players (Ty Law), their coaches (Mangenius), their schemes, etc.
Whatever team picks up Cassel will probably be a sucker team that overpays for a product they never truly see on the field. And that team will probably be the Jets.
For the record, if the Jets draft Tebow...I'm becoming a Bills fan. That would be the straw that broke the camels back.
:lol:Clemens is fucking horrid. Chances are,Cassell only looks good because he is coached well in NE,but he is certainly better than Clemens, even thirowing with his left hand.
If we some how managed to sign cassell or any other team as there starting QB these would be his statistics. G Comp% Yards TD INT 16 61.5 3205 14 13 Pretty damn crappy.
Why not Bring in Cassell? He played at USC they run a pro style O. Him and Matt went neck and neck at USC for the starting job it was real close. Cassell is a better QB then Clemmons hands down. The other Brett needs another few years I think and we all know about the 40year old Farve INT machine. But we wouldn't know talent if it hit us in the face and pulled our balls so we wont sign him I wonder if glenn Foley still around.
I agree with the OP, Bill Bellicheck is a freakin amazing coach, and he basically almost won the division with smoke and mirrors. He had no team by the end of the year.
Yeah, I don't see how that makes sense. If I'm the Pats, I'm saying that I already developed Brady and Cassel. I can definitely develop a third guy with that line and receiving corps.
I'd have amazing stats too if I had a wide open Kevin Faulk and Wes Welker to dump it to all game. Seriously, the guy has the worst deep ball in football. All season he has had the remarkable ability to miss Randy Moss for touchdowns by 5 yards, and it killed me fantasy wise.
I don't get this, either. He has 2 pro-bowl receivers and 3 pro-bowl linemen. You put Kellen Clemens in that system and I think he gets similar numbers. He's getting way too much credit for the Pats success and will get way too much blame when he fails with another team. That's just the life of a QB in this league.
