Hehehe. . . . On a scale of 1 to 10, the Patriots (and our) schedule goes from a 2 to a 9, next year. As much as the Patriots would like to whine about missing the playoffs at 11-5, their schedule (and ours) gets tougher and they won't reach 11 wins with that defensive backfield. Belichick is too smart to not get that. I'm with you - if Asamougha isn't a Patriot next year, it certainly won't be for lack of an offer. They may not get him, but they'll certainly try.
