    according to the fan cowher is def still alive

    some guy jsut came on beningo's show (an actual insider not a fan) and said that those reports from espn are not accurate. He says that they havent talked yet and they are still receptive. as i write this erik boland is on espn saying it as well. fuck you clayton!!!!!!!

    Yeah...listening to this now...So Clayton's sources say it's over, but the WFAN Jets correspondants sources say it's not over...I guess this is Favre part II, I'll believe it when I see it.

    Jerry Recco reports what i said above, but that Marty Schottenheimer is still in play, do to the fact that Little Schotty was retained.
    He also feels we are going after a Retread, not a new guy.

    Jerry Recco covers the Jets for WFAN. Said "if the reports out there about Cowher saying no are true, then no one from the team has told me"

    This is getting out of hand quickly. They need to let this run it's course in a hurry. Too much media can only hurt it. They still need to interview some minority candidates before they can make an offer anyway. They better do it.
