I guess Miami winning 11 games winning the division and making the playoffs has little to do with your ranking. Miami has constantly been rated below teams that have less wins, yet rank higher. Miami is top 10 on offnese and top 15 on defense yet they can't seem to move into thew top 10 where you have 2 8-8 teams listed. Tell me, what's the point of this power ranking? Teams obviously don't have to win games to be considered good according to yoiur ranklings, so what point does it serve??
The goal is to create an unbiased, statistical ranking of the teams. One that is not based on momentum and feelings. And yes, a win is not the only thing that matters. If you read the thread you would know it depends on who you beat, where you beat them and by how much. Everyone is judged on the same scale. Sorry your team doesn't stack up. That is what the point is. My turn. What's the point of you hanging out on a Jets board?
