I tend to think MVP should go to a player on a successful team that would have been significantly worse without him. The other way to look at it is just to give the award to the best player overall.

Who gets your vote for MVP of the regular season?

I think you have to consider Michael Turner. After the whole Michael Vick mess, it wouldn't have been a shock if the Falcons stayed down hill forever.

    P. Manning, although Turner is an excellent choice.

Favre, he went into tennesse and New England, and he won, hes taking the jets to the promise land...Wait a second....

Seriously tho Its got to be Peyton Manning hes won like 11 games in a row, and this might sound stupid but i think whoever wins the Chargers Colts game is coming out of the AFC for the superbowl

If we are going by stats I would say Peyton. If we are going by "most valueable to the team" then probably Chad. He has taken a bunch of crap recievers and won 10 out of the last 11 games.

I think you guys are overrating Pennington. The wildcat formation was a bigger part of Miami's success than Chad.

The award will go to one of these six you'd have to think- Peyton Manning, DeAngelo Williams, Michael Turner, Matt Ryan, Philip Rivers, Chad Pennington

    EDIT: Manning won.

    Votes received:
    32- Manning
    4- Pennington
    4- Turner
    3- James Harrison
    3- Adrian Peterson
    2- Rivers
    1- Chris Johnson
    1- Kurt Warner

I would vote for any of these three team leaders:

    Peyton Manning
    Chad Pennington
    Michael Turner

All three of them have proven that they are excellent players in this league and all deserve a consideration for MVP.

I am going to give an 'atta boy vote to Kerry Collins. To come in and lead his team to the record that they have is outstanding.
