Please someone agree or disagree with me. Eric Mangini has not been the same person or coach sense the Spygate incident. I remember a guy in his first year who went on a ton of 4th downs, would show faith in team and coached like he wanted to win, not protect his job. He blew that whistle and I think immediately broke the bond of the "Coaching Fraternity". He went from a guy who also would take any edge he could to win and became a dead man walking.
Maybe I am wrong here but history will play out, lets see if this guy gets fired by the jets and ends up in College because the pro's won't hire him again. It would not shock me and it might explain why this guy ballsy play and ass have tightened up so much he can't shit a nickel

He won't be the first coach to have his career derailed after coaching the Jets.

Hard to say that, since the Jets were 8-3 before falling apart.

He seems like he would be a sucky recruiter and if he can't keep control of a NFL locker room how is he going to keep control of a college locker room.

Yes he has, he always sucked. He fell into a ridiculously easy schedule his first year and did nothing right from the beginning. Nothing. Willing a 3-4 defense when we didn't have a single player who could play it was a disaster.

    Good points.

I would only add that we NEVER actually found out 2 key items: One, did Mangini warn Belichick and/or NE that the Jets would not tolerate anymore violations and Two, did someone else in the Jets hierarchy warn NE ?

For all we know, Mangini might never have even known that the trap was about to be sprung on Belichick/NE.

Or maybe he was behind it 100%.

We just don't know. Nobody has EVER talked about this from the Jets side.

You are delusional. He is a bad coach. That's it.
