The guy wants a new contract!!!! Give it to him!!! The guy comes to play every game and every down he plays football.. There is just no Quit in him alot of people who say yeah Coles sucks etc get rid of him probably never played a single down of football in there lives.. There probably fat and over weight couch potatoes who point at the Television and say this guy shoulda woulda coulda of done this.. 20 games including the preseason and 9months(training camp) later a guy is not going to be in tip top shape for the season your body just breaks down after a while and never really gets the chance to heal. But like a said before the guy came to play rain or shine sick hurt or not.. He might not have had the MVP Season but 70 catches 800 yards and 12 yards per catch is tremendous... Especially if your QB is throwing all over the place and has more ints(22) then the whole afc combined(maybe not the whole afc but you get the picture)... I say we sign the guy a new contract and keep his veteran leadership on the team.. And in the beginning he was mad cuz Chad Left now looking back on the whole picture do you blame him.. If we wanted someone to shit the Bed we could of kept chad at least he managed the game well.. We could of kept our picks and now hopefully they just part ways with brett and look towards the future.. All this season has really done for us as far as QB is create more of a controversy cuz now our search begins from the start.

Couldn't agree with you anymore. Great points, i think if we can get/draft a receiver with speed that can strech the field, it would be a great compliment to coles and cotchery.
