Since you asked, head coaches don't lose their jobs in the NFL for going 9-7. It just doesn't happen. I am really not happy and wish a lot of things could have went differently but I think EM will keep his job.

They do, Big schott lost his job after winning 14 games? i think... I understand just on numbers u might be able to say, well he had 9 wins.. But i was looking for a reason to justify keeping him, I really believe there is none...

That i feel was some what of a mistake.. least sd was a playoff team each year he was there. This is completely different... for as much as i hate mangini and wanted him fired regardless.. it would have been impossible had they managed to win the division today..

That would be the exception that proves the rule. I had no idea a 14-2 coach ever got fired, thanks for the info.

yeah man they should all have losing records because thats exactly what I said, wrong!! mangini took us to the playoffs his first year, but we lost, if any of these teams win the super bowl then I will be wrong, has a first time coach or even any coaching going to a team for the first time go all the way? Anyway a new coach means a new start which is a gamble, some teams get lucky, but if the players keep playing with no emotion then it doesnt fucking matter if we go back in time and grab vince lombardi to come coach this team
