QB.. Everyone wants Farve gone.. Clemens couldn't beat out Penny and he could not beat of Farve... Rattliff??? He was inactive the whole season... So who do you bring in??

    Good news....

The PATS are sitting at home this year too.. And we get a better draft pick infront of them...

Use our first round pick on one and then surround him with weapons. Put him in posistion to be succesful. Thats what I would do.

You will. They have a better record.

That said, they tend to know what to do with theirs.

You people are obsessed with drafting a QB and Brett Ratliff. Neither are the solution, nor is Castle. Get over it. We are not drafting a QB in the first round.

yeah..how did that work out for us last year? We ended up getting an overpaid part-time special teamer....and the Pats drafted a stud starting ILB. Don't get too excited, pal. I don't want history to repeat itself.

Hate so say it right now ...but i think Farve stays 1 more year! There is no excuse for the way he ended the season ..getting old...just past his time..etc... but a whole offseason with this team and possible a new coaching staff ie new offensive coordinator?? Head Coach?? could prove something positive (but i doubt it) but farve and the receivers looked off beat again today, at times!

I totally agree with your take on our backups ..thats why i dunno whats gonna happen ..but i really thing it starts with what happens with this coaching staff!

    To next season boys!

Like Belichick would let the Jets get him unlike what we did with Penny.

Castle will not be a free agent. He will be franchised bank on it. Brady is behind schedule, and will prolly never be the same.

You have to give players like Ratiff and Clemens a chance, Ratiff during the preseason made good decisions with the ball, hes mobile and he can throw the ball deep whats not to like? we improve the O-Line and we should be set its amazing what we could do with the improved O-Line ... i mean who do you want unproven Sam Bradford? Kurt Warner lol? Kerry Collins? or maybe you want Rex Grossman instead, i say give Ratiff a chance to see what he can do along with Ainge and Clemens

No thank you. Cassel is proof that the Pats can make a success out of anyone. Whatever team he winds up on next will regret signing him.

    +1

Cassel is a product of the system and talent that surrounds him......if Detroit signs him next season..he won't be much better than Orlovski, IMO.

So then what are we doing if Favre retires. Or the better question....what are we doing next season regardless of what Favre decides to do?

Clemens showed me last season that even with little talent he can be a serviceable QB. People say Mangini gets a pass, why doesn't Clemens? His receivers literally dropped the ball.
