Haven't heard his name mentioned...anywhere really. But even though he has rings as a player and assistant, he doesn't have one as a head coach. Mike Francesa mentioned on his show a few weeks ago that Reeves wants to come back as a head coach and that the fire still burns for that first title as a HC. He's very experienced, a good offensive mind and makes adjustments. He's coached teams to 4 super bowls. His teams are usually very creative with their offensive playcalling. I think we can probably forget all this amateur bullshit we put up with Eric if Reeves is our coach. The man has a good football mind and is not some untested hyped up wonderboy like the Mangina. Now I fully expect to go all out for Cowher, but Reeves might be a good fallback.
I thought the Chargers should have hired Reeves as head coach after they fired Schottenheimer. Reeves was ready and willing, but the Chargers didn't even bother. Would have been a much better choice than Norv Turner.
