Earthshattering news, Pennington is having a good year.

I don't see anywhere in there where he says that Pennington would have led the Jets to a better record than Favre. And he did mention its not all Favre's fault. But that wasn't bolded for some reason.

Chad is so overrated on this site it's beyond belief. He cannot throw, I don't care what their record is. They've played a cake schedule. He does a good job vs. bad teams. A good defense eats him up everytime.

As opposed to Favre, who does a bad job against bad teams and gets eaten up by bad defenses. I'd settle this year for having beaten teams the Jets should have beaten.

They've played 14 of 16 games against the exact same schedule as us and they beat every team that beat us. The different games: they got Baltimore and Houston while we got Cincinnati and Tennessee--a wash.

Chad Pennington has a good year with good coaches and a gameplan according to the teams strenghtes and weaknesses. After Brett came in so late, the Jets CS was not able to adjust and made him a less precise Pennington.

4-12 2007. 9-6 now. Not dead for the playoffs yet. You can at least say, the team points into the right direction. There was kind of turnaround.

You're aware Pennington got to Miami a week or so after Favre got here, right?

I am a Dolphins fan and I was going to post the same exact thing. The Dolphins by no means are going to the Super Bowl. They are leaps and bounds better by having Pennington run the show. He is a great leader and is perfect for the offense that the Parcell's crew likes to run. I had no idea Pennington was this good. He rarely makes mistakes and is very accurate with his throws.

The NYJs CS is one the most dumbest I have ever seen. Some of the fans have no clue what Pennington is all about. Its how you use the QB. Having no balls does not fall under the QBs responsibilites. Its the CS that made Chad a Noodle-Arm QB, but look how he is now. I don't give a shit if he's noodle arm. He CAN complete deep passes...His weak arm strength did not force him to consistently UNDERTHROW his WRs in Miami...plus he doesn't just chuck it up there for grabs and hope to get lucky. Bunch of dumb interceptions that make no sense at all...but oh well, thats just Favre. Chad had a few bad picks last yr but if the defense is playing shitty, don't blame it on Chad. If your kicker misses two FGs in the Divisional round against Shitburgh, don't blame it on Chad...please.

This year Chad has completed more 20+ yards passes then both Favre and Eli Manning, and they have not been due to YAC either, but let's not let the facts get in the way of your argument.

As for the schedule, we played the same exact teams -2, and as of right now he has faired way better then Brett and nobody in the football world has said any different.

Boomer is a bitter scrub. I clearly recall Mr. Esiason predicting, before week 1 of the regular season, that Favre coming to us would be a "total disaster." To which I say, he buddy (Boomer), 9-7 (at worst) is better than you ever did with the Jets, you arrogant POS.

He's jealous of Favre for his opportunity, and is not-so-secretly hoping the future HOF'er falls flat on his face on Sunday, just so he won't feel so bad about his own embarrassing Jet years.

Well, that settles it then. I guess Chad must be better.

But by all means, don't let that small fact that both Favre and Eli have led their team to Super Bowl victories get in the way of your Chad-love.

Noodle arm has had opportunities in the past to lead this team on a Super Bowl run, and he's choked them away. Bottom line, he could not get the job done:

    1) AFC wild card game in Oakland
    2) AFC divisional playoff game in Pittsburgh

Where did I say Chad was better?

All you can come up with is this typical garbage because I counter a post with fact saying the guy can't throw when he has completed more 20+ passes than both NY QB's.

So siting facts just means I have Chad-Love right? Lets all be ignorant and stupid to the facts, no to com off ash "Chadosexuals" WHAT A JOKE SOME PEOPLE ARE!!!

Get a life, worry about who you love, because it does not look like many when all you can do is site Chad-Love when someone posts a FACT!

Noodle arm did his best, he played the Pitt game with a torn rotator cuff, hurt it worse and jeopardized his career trying to get us there.

But you are right he should have pulled a John Abraham and refused to play, because our chances were so much better with the backup.

And DAMN you Chad for the conservative play calling and missing those field goals, and yeah that Raiders game was all his fault too.

He did not get us all the way but who has besides Joe? Do you blame Vinny for the fumble against Denver, no Jet QB has taken the Jets to the playoffs more then Chad.

That's not love, it's fact, look it up instead of jumping to your pitiful conclusions, what next? Are you are going to tell me I'm rooting for the phins this week too?

We should all bash Chad and blindly follow Favre who has done nothing for us as of yet. Oh but we won 5 more games this year, funny 10-6 was never good enough but now 9 is fine.

It's not like we signed a sh*t load of help for the offense this year, when you have your head up your A$$.

Right now Favre has us nowhere and has set the franchise back, but lets praise the guy, after all he can throw, who cares about the picks, and the 40 QB ratings, the lack of enthusiasm and leadership, he can throw.

So what if they are under or behind his receivers, he can throw, who cares how many times it's to the wrong team, and that 7 no name QB's totally out played him this year?

Oh and by the way he can also lay down on the job and give a way a certain Jets sack record. What's that my Gastineau-Love?

You got stats to back up that "not based on YAC" shit?
Ok, Chad's having a good season. I'd like to personally apologize for being excited for getting Favre and believing this team could do something great. I see now why that was so hard for people to sympathize with, afterall it was easy to see that Chad was destined for superb play after his 3 or 4 game ending picks last year.

I don't see how you people don't get this:

Both players were great in their most recent seasons with different teams. To me, that is due to the wrinkly scrotum of a coaching staff we have.

COACHING is important, if the coaches are dialing the right plays, and the representative team feels confident in those plays, it's a damn good thing.

If you manage to have a good season with this CS, you are a baller.
