Who cares at this point? I dont feel like watching another 1 and out even if they do make the playoffs. They have consistently gotten worse over the last 5 weeks and there is no reason to believe that they will suddenly start playing well again. I do hope we win next week but if we dont Im rootin for the phins all the way.
I definitely went with I don't give a c**p. At 8-3 coming off of 2 powerful wins and a 5 game winning streak we had a chance to do something special; instead we try our best to imitate the MacGuire Curse. I actually think we surpassed the MacGuire curse year. Can anyone say, "GJC". We are done. Book it.
If they make the playoffs they will lose the first round. They look like the 2007 Jets. I hate being a Jets and Mets fan. Fuck.
I hear ya! The last 2 seasons of both these teams have really tested my loyalty to these organizations. 10 months out of 12 of mental torture....WTF!!
Yeah, I'll be happy if we make the playoffs but at this point I'm honestly not excited. Even if we do make it I don't expect things to suddenly just start going right. Mangini has made it known that they won't change anything in their approach which means that as long as the Jets are still in it, we're going to have to suffer until someone puts that final nail in our coffin. So, I voted I really don't give a shit at this point.
I was torn between saying they had no chance and that I don't give a damn anymore. In truth though, I always care. I've doomed myself to this crap. That said, it'll be nice to just sit and not get bent out of shape when Chad Pennington returns home to the Meadowlands and carves up the NYJ defense. I may even switch my Favre jersey for my Chad one this Sunday. I never thought I'd root for the Dolphags, but better them than New England.
I want them to make playoffs. Recall back when they lost that awful game to the Bears -- they looked horrible -- then everything broke right -- they beat the packers and won a playoff game. I will be rooting hard for the Bills and Jags. Dont think either team has a chance though.
