Tony Richardson had more carries that Leon

Agreed, Jones is having the season of his career, and instead of giving him the ball 25 times when averaging at least 5 a carry the last 4 weeks they throw the ball consistently. Especially yesterday in the snow, pound the rock and good things happen.

I have no problem with Richardson getting carries. It was good to see a new wrinkle in the offense and it actually worked pretty well. However, there is no excuse for Leon not getting more touches. Remember that game in the monsoon in Miami 2 years ago? Leon was the difference in a low scoring game in sloppy conditions. There's no reason you don't toss him a few screens and see if he can break one. I was yelling for Leon all game and they refused to use him. Boomer called it during the halftime show as they were going to commercial, "I want to see more Leon Washington."

We should have kept giving it to Tony Richardson, he looked great in that weather early on, and he was fighting hard for yardage. It's unbelievable how this team will find something that works and totally avoid using it against a team that can't defend it.

Mangini is coaching like Herman Edwards. Except for the clock management.

Here's the other thing I noticed; Clowney was in for I think 1 play; he was able to establish easy separation between he and the defender. Favre than under threw him in almost a Chad-like fashion. My point is we were struggling to get open down field. Clowney comes in for one play and shows he can do it and then is put on the pine for the rest of the game.

Our coaching staffs new motto should be; "You play to lose the game", and they are good at it.

He was bad with clock management, too. The call on 4th and 4 from the 20 with, I beleive, over 3 mins on the clock and 3 time outs with idiotic. Parcells or BB wouldn't have done that in a million years; Oh, I forgot; they actually have faith in their defenses which get paid a lot less than ours, too.

I respectfully disagree. The field was slippery for everyone and, quite often, it is the shifty, quick runners like Leon who have the greatest advantage in difficult conditions such as those yesterday. For those of you not old enough to remember, I cite the Bills and O.J Simpson vs the NY Jets, December 16, 1973.

Jets should have run the ball 40 times yesterday. TJ, Leon & even Richardson should all have gotten plenty of carries.

We have a big, strong OL, the top RB in the AFC and the weather is horrible. Even a casual fan knows the team should run the ball a lot. And we throw it 31 times instead. What genius.
