Tough to stay "retired" when some dumbass idiot owner waves $12M in front of your face. Green Bay knew what they were doing when they gave him his walking papers.

There are so many games Favre used to win in GB he could not win here.

    Oakland, SF, and certainly today.

He didn't bring us hope, we had hope w/ the other moves we made. He brought hope to those who get caught up in big names and fantasy #s.

IT'S ON BOTH! the QB was terrible there is no arguing that but there is also no arguing that this coaching staff let the fans down big time and those two combining forces are why we are about to play a meaningless game the last week of the season instead of playing for he division.

I hate Mangina. Hate him. He clearly is not an NFL coach at this point. But Brett Fvre performed worse as a QB this year as Mangina dod as a coach. Brett Favre was absolutely terrible. I just dont understand why some of you continue to support this dick. Because you went out like a 12 year old and bought his jersey? The man is a clown. Get him and his dyke looking wife out of my town.

    Welcome to New York, Brett!

He did not have a good year. He might finally be done. But I don't think any fair, reasonable person should be able to blame him for thinking he might not be done, after the year he had last year. It was obviously difficult for him to know. It's difficult for anyone to know what happens to us as we age, we all are doing it for the first time. If it is because he's done, I think Brett Favre is the first person to feel awful that he didn't stay retired, he and his legacy is certainly a lot more "harmed" than any of you lot's ego, sitting int he stands or your living room getting drunk & throwing epithets.

Unfortunately we have a lot of unfair, unreasonable people here. So, welcome to New York, Brett. I don't know if you're truly done, or just had a mediocre year that you might still be able to bounce back from. But many people here don't care, and aren't gonna giv eyou the space or opportunity to figure that out. Consider this the some folks' way of giving you the key OUT of the city.

Brett, just thank your lucky stars that the Jets could NOT draft you in '91, and got Nagle instead. It's well known how difficult and awful a year you had your first year, in Atlanta. "Fans" here would have run you out of town (and out of the league, people might still not know how to pronounce your name today?), booing you mercilessly whenever you came on the field every time you came on it, after that awful first year (no completions, two interceptions) if you'd been selected by the Jets. That is one thing that you can always be thankful to the New York Jets for, for not trading up in the draft to grab you. They crucify their quarterbacks here at the drop of a pin.

Go back to where you came from, we ant to win. he's not a rookie, he's supposed to be a difference maker and he was- he made us lose about 2-3 more games than we would have. I hope the tears don't ruin your kepyboard.
