Eric Mangini and Co. make yet another great case for Bill Cowher to join the New York Jets as they fall to the Seattle Seahawks, crippling, if not killing, their playoff chances. Even with 7 pro bowlers, the Jets couldn't find a way to beat the awful 'Hawks. The defense, as always, stunk up the stadium, and with an opportunity to put 3 on the board and cut the lead to 4, coach Mangini opted to punt. Such a wise man he is.
I think you are right. Every loss this year was a winnable game. Only the coaching can be blamed. If Johnson doesn't make a change after spending all of the money he did then it will send a message that he doesn't care. For somebody trying to sell PSLs in this economy that would be a bad message to be sending. I also think after the last two coaches he hired he needs to hire somebody with a positive and experienced record. Right now that may only be Cowher.
