I am hereby starting a Protest/ club called the I am not a Jets fan anymore until, Mangini is gone. I am tired of this jerkoff having no emotions towards football. Football is a game played with passion. I dont want some twat mumbling about how we played ok when we lost. If we lose by 10 to a team thats 2-12, THEN WE PLAYED LIKE SHIT or the coaching was shit, either way when this happens more than 2 times in a season its your fault. I was a Mangini Fan, I always stood up for him and said that he needs more time for his scheme, defenses arent built over night. But guess what, he showed us we could be a 8-3 team, he showed us that we could have a top 5 defense and he took us right back to the gutter. Maybe we werent as good as we though we were, but that being said we beat those teams and that shows something that we have the potential. For us to lose to Denver, San Fran, Seattle and im counting buffalo cuz that should have been a loss (may you forget we lost to oakland, and almost lost to the chiefs and the bengals both 2 win teams if im not mistaken). Screw this coaching staff. How many times do we hear schotty sucks and sutton sucks? 1. Mangini hired them, for the most part the head coach decides who is under him. 2. Mangini didnt fire them after they both were pretty shitty last season (maybe more sutton than schotty)Bad coaching 3. The head coach can call plays, on offense and defense 3.a if he hasnt talked to them about switching some calls. Bad coaching 3.b if he doesnt think he needs to talk to them cuz we are playing ok. Bad coaching 3.c If he has been calling some of the plays. Even worse coaching Im tired of our coach not being mad when we lose. I want a coach who has as much passion as a player do. Let the coordinators call the plays and let the coach motivate and oversee everything. "one line height" banners i guess you could call it, that would be awesome. Maybe with a penguin and the "no smoking sign" design over it.
unfortunately i will still post here because i have nothing better to do when im home from school but i will not be watching any of the games, nor will i be going to the game next sunday for which i have tickets to because i dont want to see that fat penguin lard
Want to REALLY tear your own skin off? Go to the Jets site and pull up his press conference from last Friday. With the benefit of hindsight, seeing him joking around with the press corps, I want to travel back in time and punch him in his fat face.
This isn't the worst I've seen in a Jets team, and we all remember those really bad days where we toughened it out, so I don't think anyone is going to renounce their fan citizenship over this. We'll get through this. We always do.
Yea....and all those emotional outbursts by the coach of the Patriots really make all the difference in their success. I mean, the "we are who we thought they were" incident with Dennis Green did wonders for the Cardinals. Don't confuse the little shows that coaches put on in press conferences with how real coaching is done...
Bill Belichek says shit to fire the team up behind close doors. I havent heard one story of mangini doing anything to fire the team up he just sits there and waddles side to side saying yea we played ok, you know we could have ran a little better, we could have stopped the run a little better. We got beat by a shitty team but i think we had heart. We had a good practice too.... so I guess since we did both of those things its just like a win so im not really mad a lil dissapointed kinda. I would have liked to win..... Like come the fuck on Ok the dennis green and the mike ditka speechs are sometimes annoying but i know when my coach came into my locker pissed the fuck off cuz we played like shit at halftime it got me riled up. If your leader came to you and said ok guys we are playing alright we just gotta try a lil harder, id say fuck this guy hes a pushover. So many of us complain about his post game conferences how he always says the same thing and its always cliche and blah blah blah and we are tired of it...... How do you think the players are feeling! They probably want him to shut the fuck up.... How do you think Brett is feeling!!!!
Or even better, wait and see who wins the SB this year and bandwagon with that team. That's the mark of a true NFL fan.
Ok, even if mangini does or doesn't get fired up in press conferences, on the field, in practice, etc. He is still a terrible decision maker. I can think of about 4-5 decisions he fucked up in the 4th quarter alone. We need a smarter coach and better coordinators.
Okay so after reading this a couple hours later it was a lil harsh and im not gonna stop being a jets fan because hes the coach but i really dont want to look at his dumb face any longer nor do i want to hear him speak lol
The team as a whole sucks balls hard the whole team played like shit today, I'm especially mad with the oline they sucked balls today and also our recievers were kinda shot, and Brett looked like trash, the whole defense is garbage, only when the rushed the quarterback they looked decent, and when they rushed they struggled to even get passed the oline of the seahawks. Bad coaching? yes definatly! but the players are playing like shit as well, they really are, LIKE SHIT! anyway I also would love to see Leon get more carries but sometimes I notice that if there arent any nice holes for him to run through he goes down by the first brush of contact, like a fuckin bitch....and I noticed TJ sometimes does the same thing and it pisses me off because either he lost a step like LT or he doesnt give a flying fuck sometimes, I don't get that impression with Leon i just dont think leon has too much power and sometimes goes down like a bitch .:drunk::drunk::drunk:
yep, the dope kept Sutton anyway because he couldn't get his guy. I would have fired Sutton anyway and let Jim Hermann be the DC. He was Michigan's DC when Harris was there, so he has plenty of 3-4 experience. That means Sutton, the former 4-3 LBers coach became the 3-4 DC... and Jim Hermann, the former Michigan University Defensive Coordinator who ran a 3-4, is the LBers Coach now.
