I agree that when they signed Favre, they had the idea of making him the centerpiece for the new stadium and a justification for the PSLs, BUT they never would have been in the market for a vet QB if Tangini didnt want Chad to leave.

That Fat Fuck HC got rid of three of the captains on the team because he wanted to put his mark on the team. He's too insecure to allow the popular guys on the team to stick around, and make no mistake, Vilma, chad and kendall were popular in the lockerroom.

Now we see what his mark is- bad coaching, no heart, no balls.

Of COURSE they got Favre to make more money. Thats what a name like Favre will do anyway. That doesn't mean they didn't want or expect to win.

 

He wont be here for the new stadium.

 

With a finish like he had this season, I expect him to hang 'em up.

Had they made the playoffs and won a game or two in january, i think he might have considered returning next season.
