we win and NE loses and we are in but screw it, the Jets shouldn't be there. Miami and NE deserve it and we don;t so they should be there. WHy make the playoffs and lose by 30 in front of all of North America?
I think it's all rather academic what happens next. If we beat Miami and get in because NE loses ... it just does not look like we have a prayer to get our shit together to win one straight game, forget about five straight games. There is so, so little to find in this that is positive. The O can't score any points, the D lets a patchwork O-line of scrubs give a backup QB light it up on us, and the coach makes what would have been one of the most questionable calls of the season by not letting Feeley retry that FG. I say "would have been", because that call was clearly upstaged by the even more questiongalbe call to go for it on 4th and 4 on the ten yard line ... No, there's nothing good in this, nothing at all. The most all around dispiriting loss of the season. Worse than the Charger game -- at least that game you could feel we were still getting a lot of new faces in sync with things. This game? Blech. This one is really really hard to take. I need to step away from the computer now.
