I'm serious... the way we've been playing lately, the Patriots would be the last team I'd want to play. There isn't another team out there who would exploit our defense as much as Belichick and Cassel right now.

I hope Ravens and Pats lose out....Phins and Jets win this week...That will setup a game between Jets and Phins in which winner will take the division, the other clinches wild card spot, but still face each other for one last time....God this would be awesome...we can kill the Phins twice in two weeks...

Seems like we are improving against the Pats every time we face them..
    First game: Pats win straight
Second game: Jets win in OT
Third game: Jets win straight...I hope...

I yeah I do fear the Shitriots the most...wouldn't it be sweet if we actually kick their v*g*n*s one last time?

Our problem of late is we're getting zero pressure on QBs where we were to some degree before. I can just imagine what a field day that slippery little slimeball Wes Welker would have against us if we continue to play the way we've been playing.

On second thought though, if we continue to play this way, we won't be getting anywhere in the playoffs anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter.

One way or the other, this team has to find a way to stop giving up so many passing yards and leaving the middle virtually unchallenged, or we're screwed all the way around. We might make it to the first round, but any decent passing team is going to pick us the hell apart.

Looking at the different scenarios, if the Jets win out they likely will be facing either the Pats or the Ravens. I really don't like either match up.

Well, last year the Bucs, Cowboys and Packers were all better than the Giants all season long and you know what happened.

Who do you wanna face?....the Chiefs or the Raiders? Me too bro.

We played balls to the wall against NE the last time and pressured Cassel well enough to keep him off balance. For some inexplicable reason, Sutton has abandoned this and gone conservative and it's killing us.

Couple that with a sputtering offense that once had balance and moved the chains with multiple looks, throw in some penalties and turnovers, and here we are, a mere shadow of the team that beat the dog poop out of the Titans and pretty much dominated the Patriots game throughout.

We either find a way to get back to what we were doing (and get our confidence and swagger back) or we don't. It all has to start by dominating the SeaSquawks and then putting it to the Dolphins.

What game were you watching? Balls to the wall? We didn't blitz at all in the 2nd half of that game and that's why Cassel was able to throw all over us. It was nonstop 3 man rushes.

THE JETS WILL WIN IN SEATTLE AND SPANK THE FINS AT HOME!

I feel very good now after that win at home against Buffalo.

there are other farfetched mathematical possibilities, but the general truth is: winning next week achieves nothing. Wk 17 is a must win no matter what happens week 16. Losing the Seattle game can hurt us, but winning it does not really imporve our position over where we are right now.

Yes, the outcome of the Miami game is irrelevant to the Jets. Just as the Seattle game (late) is irrelevant if the Pats lose (early).

It's only irrelevant as far as us making the playoffs. It still matters for seeding with Denver.
