as bad as we played, even on STs, and as good as lynch was running, this game could easily have been a 27-3 bills blowout with under 2 to play....but:

good point 1- the jets made a LOT of good plays of thier own to keep the game within 3 pts (brett's neked bootleg, brett's long throw over the middle to coles, brett to cothery for 7, clowney's one handed gem, clowney chasing down mckevin on his long run back, TJ running, LW's 50yd scamper to end the half, someone's 'one handed' int). yes, we were very inconsistent, BUT we did have more than a handful of excellent plays sprinked in that kept the game close.

best point- with the game over and the bills hanging a devistating loss on us (just look at brett's face) WE PLAYED HARD TO THE WHISTLE. the 'ellis' play could ONLY have happen for a team leaving it all on the field. every facet of that play said 'no quit here'. and that's an awsome thing for a team to have.

the D saving the game will allow the O to play a bit more loose. it truly helps any offense when they know they can count on the D in crunch time. watch how much better and smoother the O plays in seattle.

The Jets better play good or Seattle will beat us, just like Buffalo almost did. Seneca Wallace had a good game last week and they have pretty decent receivers. Wallace is a mobile QB whom we seem to have a lot of trouble with (that ype of QB). The Jets had better take this game very serious and throw the kitchen sink at the Seahawks in terms of effort, execution, adjustment, and imagination. They are very capable of beating us despite their record.

If the Bills didn't get that miracle INT that went off of Coles foot at 14-3, it would've never been a competitive game.

You might be right, but those "breaks" happen. The Jets didn't respond well at all to that play.

honestly, we've seen a lot of plays like that the past 3 weeks. this team doesn't respond too well to bad luck.

that said, when there's good luck, this team does pretty well. i like our current position where nobody expects us to do anything. the team tends to play better when there are less expectations.

Also if the blow to the head would have been called the second INT swould ahve been nullified.

(And favre would not have underthrown the ball)

the coles drop that became an INT turned the game completely around....it seems when bad things happen the whole team acts as if the world is falling apart on them. The D started going for strips and not tackling the whole game thinking that they had to make a huge play instead of just doing what they have done all season. We are the top scoring team in the AFC and if this team can't go to one of the worst scoring defenses in football and run away with a game it is a problem.

No mistakes, tackle, and put the game away in the first half. If i spend another 4th quarter pacing I will not be happy.
