The Jets were 4-12 last season!

    Already 9 wins!!

Everyone is going crazy about the Dolphins going from 1 win to 9.

What about the Jets from 4 to 9!

  2. You make a good point.

Experts point to the amount of money that was spent in the offseason, but what they fail to mention is that they were AGAINST all the moves and predicted them all as failures!

Miami has Parcells. When was the last time he didn't turn a team around in the first or second year. The Jets have Sutton, Schottenmeyer.

Guys, I think you are forgetting something important. We played the AFC west and the NFC west. Come on. That's eight games right there.

Parcells doesn't help the players make plays. The Dolphins are successful because they got a QB that stabilized the position and they continue to run the ball all game long. There is a bright spot. We get to prove them all wrong.

True, Parcells doesn't help players make plays. But would Sutton still have a job under Parcells? The players cannot make plays if the scheme doesn't put them in a position to make plays. How players put pressure on the QB if they are not allowed to rush the passer? The players can only be where the scheme says they should be. How often do we see the TE catching all the balls he wants and running for all the yards he wants without a LB being close to make the tackle?

The Jets were dumb to cut Pennington and get nothing in return. If they were more ruthless like the Packers' org. (which you often need to be in the real world) then they could've gotten something somewhat valuable for Pennington. He's obviously one of the biggest reasons Miami has turned it around.

I mean they had Chad freaking Henne before him, while other teams likes the Vikings were deciding between who sucked less between Tavaris Jackson and Gus Fereotte. If the Jets really wanted something in return they could've gotten it. But hey, it shows some class at least.

how? it's not like other teams are blind to our cap situation. they knew we had to cut penny to stay under cap, which is why we had absolutely no leverage.
