You know how it works around here. Win in convincing fashion or there'll be complaints.

I think we reserve the right to complain after yesterday though, that was lucky ass win and we played like S***... That won't cut it vs Miami.

I don't get why it's lucky. It's not like it's the first time a team has played poorly and won.

We've played great in some losses before...does that mean anything?

In the end, whether we got lucky or not, in a month it'll just be another game.

God forbid we had lost yesterday...

play bad and lose: negative comments 90% (9'rs game)
play bad and win: negative comments 90% (bills game)
play good and lose: negative comments 90% (first ne game)
play good and win: negative comments 90% (titans game)

    well. at least we're consistent.

You don't get why it's lucky?? All Buffalo had to do is get one more first down by running all over us like they had all game and it was over. Instead they made a retarded call and we capitalized.

What games did we play great in that we lost?

Fuck that lucky shit. Lucky is a goose coming from nowhere and knocking the ball loose from Losman's hands and into Ellis' hands. Lucky is Marshawn Lynch stepping on his shoelace and tripping, fumbling the ball.

Bad coaching is Shotty calling 3 straight runs up the middle with 2:12 left in the 4th in Foxboro on a Thursday night, when all we needed was a first down to seal the game and we weren't having a hell of a lot of luck on the ground at that point. If the Pats had won that game, do you think their fans would be calling it 'lucky'? No, they'd be calling 'The Rat' a moron.

And bad coaching is Jauron and crew choosing a passing play at the exact same point of a game where his ground game was shredding us all day long. We weren't lucky, we just faced a coach who makes bad decisions. Dick Jauron is a moron.

I don't consider the win luck. The defense saw an opportunity and took it. That is actually a promising sign if anything. Lucky would of been the goose thing. Elam actively went for the strip, which is more than luck.

Lucky is Buffalo's FG that bounced off the post and the interception that bounced off the player's foot.

    Pats 20 Jets 10 in '07

We gave away that first game against the Pats this year.

    Jets v. Colts in '06

    Jets v. Bears in '06

    Jets v. Cleveland in '06

We're a better team so every loss is going to look worse than when we weren't as talented.

Or thats just how I see it. I realize it doesn't fit into what I'm supposed to see a true Jets fan, but I can't help it. I'm stupid.

At one point in the season, wasn't the Bills coaching an advantage you said they have over us?

    Or was that someone else?

Dick Jauron didn't call a fumble recovery for a TD. He probably told Losman to roll out and throw it away if nothing was there. it was the 2 min warning so a rushing play would not have run more time off the clock. Losman should have sensed the pressure and threw it away. He was unaware that Elam was even behind him. That play is all on Losman and their LT that whiffed on Elam.

I can't imagine ever saying Dick Jauron was a coaching advantage over anyone.

Yeah that was probably the first time since the Monday Night Miracle that the Jets took a game that seemed all but over. The Jets players tasted the end of their season and somehow came out on top. Let's hope this woke them up and made them even more hungry

Around here it doesn't matter if we won 50-0...there are people here that complain just to complain. There are numerous games each week that are lucky wins..look at Pitt against Bal. Pitt was very lucky to have that called a TD....The Phins game against SF...SF went up and down the field all day but the Phins were lucky enough to keep them out of the endzone. A WIN IS A WIN & A LOST IS A LOST! I agree that they need to play better especially on D.

if the Jets win their next 2 games they will win the AFC East and make the playoffs. What happens if we get hot and somehow win the SB? it's not likely, but there's a small chance. i bet the Jets fan will say something like this after the Super Bowl win-

"We suck, we almost let the Giants back in the game in the second half. They don't even have Plexico Burruss or Brandon Jacobs!! How could i get excited over a SB win when the team played like shit??! Fire Mangini NOW! Favre was a mistake!! Bring back CHAD!!!"
