Giants | Team terminates offer for K. Allen Sat, 15 Apr 2006 07:18:12 -0700 Mike Garafolo, of the Star-Ledger, reports the New York Giants have terminated their tender offer to restricted free agent DT Kenderick Allen, making him an unrestricted free agent. The move was still a bit of a surprise as the Giants are thin at defensive tackle after losing DT Kendrick Clancy to the Arizona Cardinals on the first day of free agency. Thanks to the forum police. I believe this move could draw interest from the Jets ... he is a big man and we need another big body at DT/Nose. If it needs to be moved I trust those with Mod status to do so .... shockingly you seem to lack that status MParty. Thanks for your concern though. We now take you back to your regularly scheduled Leinart thread(s).
I dont know if he is a mangini guy.... He is big though, but there has to be a reason why his contract was terminated. Let's wait and see whats the scoop on this kid.
to tall for nose, he wouldnt be able to get underneath enough, he looks like more of a prototype LT build, if he is 6'6 and only 315 he would be pretty lanky
I wouldn't say too tall. Yes, he's tall than most DT's, but John Henderson and Marcus Stroud are tall DT's and they seem to do fine.
because hes an athelete...why kind of retarded question is that? lets think logically please...it hurts my head to lower my IQ for the amusement of people attempting to talk football
what will we carry 4 DT's? Robertson, Pope(he might be DE in our system) and Poulha, are really the only DT's we have on the roster. We have 2 others but they might not make the team.(street FA'a and practice squad I forgot their names) so after the draft if we get noone and K Allen costs us a 1 yr 600k deal I am all for it.
its call an exageration, lol. Just cuz hes tall doesnt mean hes good, besides most of the better D-Tackles are in the 6'0-6'2 range.
true...put a mammoth like adams in there and you got yourself a problem if your the opposing center fyi...no football player is weak...much less a Lineman
