"I think if anyone else watches me, they will still see I'm doing a pretty good job of what I'm doing"

If he thinks three pass receptions for seven yards in two games is a pretty good job, than the bar has been set pretty low.

good job blatantly taking what he said out of context to make it seem like he is satisfied with those statistics. he was referring to the other things a receiver does besides getting catches. not to mention the rest of the season, in which he has been a pretty good receiver.

this quote is an extreme fail.....

anyway, Coles is awesome - good to see him being mature about the lack of production. Few people work harder than him in the NFL.

I heart Coles. I think him and Cotchery are both about to break out of their mini slumps.

Hey, if he can pick that quote out of context like he just did and twist the information, maybe hes more qualified to be part of the media than all of us.

I love Coles. But I think its time for the Jets to move on. I still say they lack a true number 1 WR. They need to go out and draft a stud 6'4 guy. They havent had a WR with height since Keyshawn left.

We have had WRs with height, just not good WRs.

A lot of people laughed at Coles' claim that the offense used to be run through him before BF showed up, but here's a different way of looking at this. Whenever Brain Shot is asked about his shifts and motions he responds that the purpose of this is "to get the matchups we want". Maybe what that means is getting Coles matched up against a weaker DB. Maybe Coles was right when he said the offense was run through him, maybe all that S & M was done to get the #1 CB off his ass so he could make a play. Now with the static formations favored by BF the #1 CB will always be on Coles. So maybe what he said was not stupid at all.

Coles needs to do two things:
    1) Catch the ball.
    2) Shut the fuck up.
    End of story.

If that's the case then it looks like you two have at least one thing in common.

You're clueless man, LC is one of the top 10 blocking WRs in the NFL, maybe top 5. And he shows it week after week.

Sorry the guy hasnt had a big recieving game the last two outings. The play calling has been horrible, and if I remember correctly he had a HUGE game against the Titans.
