this seems like a tough time of year to start playing. Im sure Seau is still in good shape he doesnt seem like the kind of guy who takes anytime off.

But with the weather getting colder and teams really starting to hit their peak its going to be hard to come in off the street and expect to be effective immediately. (see Ty Law)

Good signing for the Pats. They could use some youth on that old-ass defense.

Remember that sack that Gholston blew against Cutler? Seau would have knocked the snot out of Cutler on that play. He's not great, but he takes advantages of whatever opportunities come his way. He's sort of like one of those teenage kids who bangs the hot teacher.

Keep thinking Pats are old and slow.....they signed Colvin and Seau as emergency plug-ins because they are so decimated on defense......The regular Pats defense has TWO aging players who split time with youngsters.....Harrison/Meriweather and Bruschi/Guyton....

A starting defense with Seymour,Wilfork,Warren,Mayo,Thomas, Vrabel, Bruschi,Hobbs,Meriweather,Sanders,Harrison, or any other CB they plug in isn't exactly old.......

Harrison and Bruschi may retire next year...if not, they get platooned to stay fresh....

Pats get Brady back next year...this year is Jets best shot at playoffs.......

Gave up on the idea of keeping Cassel and trading Brady already?

I saw Seau get embarrassed and his ankles nearly broke off against Seattle last Sunday. it was hysterical... grab the surf board and go home old man.

Seau will most likely get moved inside for run stopping......BB should be nominated for coach of year if he gets 10-11 wins out of this decimated team.......

BB should be hit in the forehead with a pickaxe just for being BB.

That's the same thought I had.
