I know I am recently converted Jet fan, don't know the history here. But, what I do know is that this is the NFL. Anything can happen. The Jets still control their own destiny with three winable games left on the schedule. It also seems that this team plays down to it's competition. I would rather have wins against NE and Tenn, rather than Oak and SF because those are teams that we could potentially play in the playoffs, We have the thought process already that we can beat them. The other thing that I know is that Favre rarely has a stretch of poor games. I believe he will bounce back and deliver a win this week. The defense is getting exposed, but if we put up 24 or more points, that should win it. Still in the driver's seat with three weeks to go, wasn't this team planning their offseason this time last year? We've had the let down at home after riding high for 5 weeks and we've had the letdown on the road against an inferior team. Now it's time to play football this team is capable of playing. One game at a time. Let's take care of business against the Bills this week, and see where the season is at that point. Any given Sunday, who knows who will win these games (Mia, NE, Bal, Pitt) That's why they play the games.
Come on now the Jets will win another if not 2 if not all three. This is not the way us Jets fans should be thinking. It should be win, win, win instead of lose, lose, lose.
Its nice to know that Paul Maguire bought a computer and figured out how to use it, lots of old guys have trouble with technology.
I think you guys have the best chance to win the division because at the end of the day I feel like this Jets team is the best in the division. 2 home games left, 2 games against sub par teams and Miami in December. Everything is stacked in your favor. The Season is yours to lose, but the same can be said for Miami - if either team wins out, said team earns the division. No other way around it.
The Bills have lost 6 of their last 7 games. There's no way in hell they should be able to come in to the Meadowlands and beat the Jets. Hang on to that thought for a moment. I'm guessing it's 50/50.
