Poll: Should Mangini get fired if they go 9-7 or worse? Part 2: Will he get fired if they go 9-7 or worse?
if they go 9-7 he has to go, what is this three years and he is a 500 coach, maybe bill cower will come here
He should go if we don't make the playoffs. Honestly. 8-3 at one point, and we can't finish and make the playoffs? No. Will he? No way, hes going to be here next year
Yes (maybe because things are his fault, but mostly because the team will believe things are his fault either way, and it will be time to bring in new coordinators anyway). Not sure (Johnson doesn't seem to like doing this, but he might prefer to do it a year before the new stadium opens).
Yes he should no he won't. The guy is fucking clueless. If our DC is on his knees blowing the game by sending NO pass rush, the HC should corrct that. Every QB we face is shredding us. We got some pressure vs Buffalo and Tenn and look what happens Why can't the Jets ever stick with some thing that works?
Forget the record, I say he should be fired if we see the 3 man rush even one more time this year. Seriously who has been watching our game film and continues to think that is working?
That's likely what will happen. You have to throw a coordinator or two under the bus before you can fire a head coach, it seems. Jets would probably be better served just cleaning house with all of them at the end of the year though.
No he shouldnt get fired, no will he. Yeah it was a disaster collapse, but seriously Sutton deserves to go way worse. Mangini believe it or not, I have faith in him. also We just got a great nucleus of players together, I really don't want to blow it all up and start over again. I really think with this nucleus we can be a winner, we just need a new DC, and possibly a new OC, but I think Schotty's major problem is he trusts favre implicitly, as opposed to sticking with the run when we fall behind by three, he immediately goes to empty set and essentially says "Brett win me this Game, Thomas you have been kicking ass today, we'll come back to you when we regain the lead"
Yeah of course. That means he strung together 6 straight wins. With 4 of those being against playoff caliber teams/the best teams in the league. That's like saying if a guy goes through medical school after flunking a Bio exam in HS should he be a doctor? No shit, he went through med school. But should a guy that flunked a Bio exam in HS be given patients and be considered a doctor right then and there? If you think so, and own a hospital, I'd like to speak to some of the patients.
Clearly. What's not clear is if we continue to slide and miss the playoffs, should/will he be hear next year.
the coordinators are under the direction of the HC,aren't they? If they fail,it's because the HC continues to let them carry out their pathetic game plan
If that's the case why are we asking this question now when we lead our division. People are acting like the season is over now.
