Here are some telling stats for the game that really tell the story about how bad things are.

    Total yards - 49ers (375), Jets (182)
    Third down efficiency - 49ers (8/15), Jets (1/10)
    Penalties - 49ers (3/25), Jets (8/57)
    Time of possession - 49ers (39:49), Jets (20:11)

Clearly from the TOP and the 3rd down efficiency the defense could not get off the field. This has become a serious problem. The offense didn't help things either with the lack of conversions on third down.

This team really needs to look into why they were able to get up for the Patriots and Titans games, but really looked flat for the Broncos and 49ers games.

Once the opposition figured out that we are only capable of throwing screens and running, you get games like this. 1/10 on 3rd down.

yeah we ran a bazillion screens offensively today also the offensive conversion rate wasnt helped by the numerous penalties backing us up every time.

Course didnt stop the niners did it? what did they convert 2 separate first and twenties? how about the loveable 3-12? god pass defense was awful. Anybody got the YAC for san fran today? gotta believe it was 3/4 of hills pass yards today.
