Let's not lose focus of that. We've got a tough game in the West next week. Our focus should be on the future. Say what you want tonight, but come Monday morning. The 49ers should be our focus.
Look did anyone think we would run the table? We are still in first. This game is over, now we set our sites on the 49'ers.
We just need to make sure the next 4 weeks are played like the previous 2, and not like today in any way. It was pretty clear from the get-go that Denver had this game. They were more intense and they definitely executed. We did get hosed on their first TD, but we'd have lost anyway. Unfortunately, it's starting to look like any one of the teams we have left to play could beat us, and 2 more losses probably means no playoffs.
of course this is a tough pill to swallow, but in reality this was not a must win. I know every game is a "must win" but this game did not affect our standings in the division only the conference. That is of course important, but there is plenty of Football left.
