I have lived long enuf to see another team's fanbase fear the Jets!! :beer::up:

 

its weird to be on the other side of things. That's usually what this board looks like

 

What makes this even more weird is that it is coming from fans of a division leader.

Wow. This is so awesome, I can't even explain it.

To actually be FEARED by another team? I haven't seen anything like this since 1998. Hell, even then we weren't as feared.

Its just a weird weird feeling, thats the best way it can be described. Time for us to prove we deserve to be feared, go out and pound the Broncos into submission on Sunday and then everyone will be quaking in their boots...

 

This is one of those games that in the past the Jets have let down on. The Jets should hammer the Bronco's.

Lets see if they are the "same ole planes", or if this is the dawning of a new era.

 

It usually holds that the only fans that fear the New York Jets are Jets fans.

like i said in the 2009 schedule post, every team that has to play us has already penciled in an 'L'.

edit: except for the fish, pats, bills. they've penciled in two 'Ls'

 

Coming from a fan base that worshipped a fat naked guy dressed in a barrell im ok with this. Denver is known for inbredness this could be the excuse.

 

"I have given up trying to figure out what games this team will win ..and won't win."

And that'a exactly why we shouldn't be "basking" in Broncos fans' fear, because even their own fans don't know this team.

This team has been unpredictable... great one week, lousy the next. Add to that, this team is a wounded animal on the brink of playoff extinction.

I don't know about anyone else, but all that adds up to not "basking" in anything. We need to bring our A+ game Sunday or we lose.

This is unfathomable to me... hysterical really. I still think they'll come to play... classic trap game... then again, so was the Rams game...

 

this is not a trap game...the broncos arent that shitty...you have to be a really bad team to be a trap game...its a game the jets need to compete to win

 

If the Jets are looking past Denver to San Francisco then I predict the coaching staff will be shot.

 

Thanks for making that point. I do not see a letdown in this game by the Jets. They are riding high and should win the game. But as our local sports writers point out, the cover is in question.
