email it to Goodell. This guy will be covering traffic forever, bc he will never get press creds. I sent it already
Jets vs Giants superbowl is all you hear lately. Its stupid and silly to even talk about at this point in the season when we havent even played a playoff game. Its a possibility but then again so is Lou Holtz returning to the sideline for gang green. LETS GO IRISH ?
Did that guy really write that? Was that an "onion" article? Does he not know that Buffalo and Miami really are in our division? I can't believe what I just read.
http://www.sportsnetwork.com/merge/tsnform.aspx?c=sportsnetwork&page=market/about.htm The reporter works for the Sports Network, which isn't based in Kansas City, so it isn't accurate to say "KC writers" are responsible for this story, but still, thanks for posting.
Hahaha no seriously hahahahahaha........ What is this guy's deal? He does realize that the NFL couldn't possibly have the seen the decline of Seattle and the 49ers were everybodies playoff pick only last season. Oh and those games are on the West Coast which is no easy task. Throw in the 2 division games and December is no easy month. I just assume everybody is going to lay down in the playoffs too?
I think it is much more likely - however absurd the whole idea of the NFL being fixed is - that the NFL wants the Colts to get in the playoffs. How many bad callls have benefited the Colts this season? It's ridiculous.
"While 7-4 conference-mate Baltimore faces a final leg with a won-loss record of 27-27-1 and fellow 8-3 off-week pursuer Pittsburgh looks down a 35-20 barrel to wrap up the schedule, the chosen ones in green and white have the AFC's third-easiest remaining trip at 23 up and 32 down. The would-be challenges (wink, wink...) begin Sunday in East Rutherford, where New York - which, incidentally, won its lone world title 40 years ago this January - faces a Denver Broncos team that started its finishing kick with a 21-point home loss to the 2-8 Oakland Raiders. Later tests will include woeful San Francisco (3-8), inept Seattle (2-9), slumping Buffalo (1-4 in its last five) and a visiting Miami team fresh off its own double-digit home loss and tenuously leaning on the late-season resuscitative powers of one Chad Pennington at quarterback." The mind on drugs is a terrible thing to waste. Seriously, this is hilarious thinking.
This is just complete nonsense. An all New York SuperBowl would be great for New York, but not for the NFL... the same way we all loved the Subway Series but the National ratings were awful. In my opinionm The NFL's best scenario would be a higher profile western/centrally located team against a high profile team in the East... like the Jets OR Giants, not the Jets and Giants.
He forgot to add us getting Chris Jenkins for a bag of shells, Finding someone dumb enough to take Robertson and his knees off our hands, Mike Westhoff mysteriously unretireing and the cherry on top of us paying to have Brady taken out in game one. Im sure he thinks Herm going there was our Trojan horse to destroy their team as well. If he is going to make up conspiracy theories he might as well go all the way.
Absolutely correct, but don't attempt to apply logic as to why this article is complete nonsense. Is this another one of those baited articles?
I'd love a fucking Subway Bowl. As long as the Jets win. Let it be a conspiracy, who gives a shit, long as we win.
its completely our fault that we had a relatively easy sched... if only we faced a superpower like KC we wouldn't have achance...
