seriously. the only passes should be screens and play-action. there is no need to take risks against a defense that bad.
I'll be thrilled. When a team that has Favre for QB that throws 50 times means it is protecting a substantial lead. I'll take a solid win any day
Hahah. It seems that Mangini considers three points a significant lead. I'll be happy with that this week. Pound the rock.
Like i said in a previous thread, i wish Denver hadn't lost on sunday. I hate playing a desperate team. The worst part is they will be throwing the ball all game, and we all know the secondary is our achilles heel.
Funny enough I bet that's what they'd say about us too (well, what they did say last year when they had to face our QB in championship game).
Yes, it is playing numbers. that's what I'm saying, they seem to match up well to our greatest vulnerability on that side of the ball. I just got done watching what a kickass passing offense can do to a pretty good defense just Monday night when it's hot, and I guess it's made me a bit nervous.
exactly. There's no reason to try and trick them. They have Robertson in the middle. I think we will be able to dominate the LOS right from the start. This should be the Jones/Washington show.
I'm actually in Texas. I know that there's some odd brand of hate between people in Colorado and people in Texas, but that takes it to an extreme.
I wouldn't be surprised if the last game of the season for Denver, vs. San Diego decides their division.
Let's hope Shotty doesn't revert to the form he was in during the KC game. Our OL should manhandle that DL. 100+ for Jones and 60+ for Leon, at least a TD for each.
It's the Californians we hate now! We've gotten used to the Texans. Seriously, I was listening to a Denver talk radio station on the drive home and the host was interviewing a sports guy from the newspaper. The host kept going on the the Jets will lose because they are underestimating the Donkeys, that they're due a loss and this was my favorite part, that they're not that good of a team and the win against the Titans showed that the Titans suck too. The newspaper guy pretty much laughed and basically said "are you kidding me?" I think the biggest factor is which Cutler shows up. Hopefully it'll be the one that played the Raiders, because he was awful. Anyhow, I'm confident we'll crush the Broncos. Their fans are the most annoying cock tuggers around. Well, maybe not as annoying as Patriots fans. Go Jets!
I find it funny that people think since the fans are cocky the team must be, too. How many Jets players are saying "one game at a time"? I see that quote in almost every article I read.
The Gints run defense has performed much better than the Titan's. I think it will be harder to run on the Gints than it was on Sunday.
I believe our weakness has more to do with playcalling than with ability. I believe that we will make Cutler pay in the first half. Whether we allow 300 yards in the air in the second half or not makes no nevermind as long as we are up by a couple/few scores.
I think the Broncos have the talent to end up 7-9 this year. The Chargers would take the division by dint of the division record.
