a groin is different than a knee problem. Vilma's injury was with him throughout HS and College. Harris' thing can be reoccurring, but the chances are less likely.
A groin injury could linger the entire rest of the year.Problem with a groin injury is you think its healed and then when you test it (play football) you realize its not healed.Im worried about the depth at LB as we speak. Is Brandon Reinkart the kid from Rutgers still on the roster. Not saying he would replace Harris but I think hes better than Spencer.
thats the one thing about looking at the Jaxsonville game that I realized. Their corners suck and couldn't cover Justin Gage or Scaife. We have people to do both. That leaves stacking 8 in the box and shuting down the run. It'll come down to offensive turnovers.... I don't think they'll be any. Maybe one. But who's to say that the statue Kerry Collins won't get striped either.
You know... not that it's on topic in this thread... but I've been lurking message boards for teams we've played this season... and of all the teams we've played, the Titans message boards are the most boring and pointless to lurk.
Yeah, I'm really surprised so many people though he had a realistic shot at playing this week. I bet we don't see him until the Bills game at the earliest. The dude had groin surgery.
One of the most upsetting things about this season (more so than the Oakland game and the non-play of Gholston) is David Harris being out. I was expecting him to be a beast this season coming off of a great rookie season, but that isn't happening due to injury. He'll bounce back eventually, can't wait. He's a tackling machine.
What happend to that kid Mark Brown who played LB for us? Id also might be thinking Hobson didnt New England cut him? We need depth.
We need Harris for the stretch run. It would have been nice to have him for this game, but I'd rather have him fully healthy for the final 5 games.
